Tim, thank you for your response. I'm glad I assumed correctly on most of my "assumptions". Your tree has a "William Frost" who had 2 daughters, Elizabeth and Lydia. Both girls married a "Gray". E/to John and L/to Henry. They both came over from England around 1637 via Mass(I can't find the ship). Anyway, for me it goes: Henry Gray Sr.
Henry Jr.
William
Stephen
Asel
Enoch
Horatio (Oat)
George
Winifred(my Grandmother)
My Grandmother would have really thought it was cool that she broke a 9 generation male Gray streak...

Hi,
I am trying to trace my family history ,but the information I have is very vague.
I wonder if you have any info on my father,James Waddell Forsyth, from Glasgow,he married mother Elizabeth Nelson from Conlig Bangor Co. Down Northern Ireland, after meeting in the AIR FORCE,during the war. They are now both deceased leaving very little to go on.
I think he was born around 1926 +/-2yrs in Glasgow Scotland. He married my Mother in 1946 just after the war, they had five children:
(1)Ian Forsyth.
(2)Georgina Forsyth.
(3)David Forsyth.
(4) Blair Forsyth.
(5)Florence Jayne Forsyth.(me).
I would be interested in any information that would include my parents, and backwards as far as possible,I know the Family is originaly French, but thats about all.If you can't help can anyone else shed some light on this informatuion, perhaps any connected Forsyth's in Glasgow.
Thank's Jayne.

Laina, I am glad you found this site to be useful. That is of course its purpose. This site, and my genealogy research in general, covers only the ancestors of my children, with the exception of my living relatives and a few other Forsythes. Unfortunately, I do not have additional time to research the descendants of these ancestors as well. The purpose of the login is to keep private information on living persons an copyrighted material. As such, it is for family members only. You can always search this site from Google using:
site:rumblefische.com searchstring
Out of curiosity, which ancestors did you find?

I lucked onto this site via a search for two of my ancestors who lived in Fairfield, CT in the early 1640's. It provided me wonderful sources to continue my search and also backed up what little info I had or was guessing. Thank you so much. My question though, is: Is this a site that is specifically dedicated to one family (chapter 1) by the creator? I'm wondering if the info that I've found ends there or if the site covers more descendants that may have resulted in the marriage. I can't even remember how I ended up on the site and it seems that there is not a "search" feature, so I'm assuming that is why you have a "login" area. Even if you can't help me with my question, I appreciate all I did get from the site. Thanks again.

Donna, thank you for the clarification. I changed the site to remove Joseph B.'s last name. I have listed all the sources I have knowledge of. If an event is listed without a source reference, then it more than likely came from the internet without reliable citations. I have no sources that connect Emmelin Parsons to Jesse H. to Samuel H. to Joseph, so I cannot show them as certain ancestors. Can you can provide citations for any of these?

Hi,
I've been looking through your information on the Parsons, specifically Samuel Parsons and Lucy Bailey. Samuel does not appear in any record as Samuel H. in Pittsylvania County, VA or in Pike and Lincoln Counties, MO. I am heading to Logan County, KY this summer. He is known as Samuel Jr, Junior as a nephew of Samuel Sr., son of Richard and husband of Rebecca Farthing. When Samuel disappears from records in Pike County, MO, which is where the last deed with William H. is located, his son Samuel Wilson goes by Samuel rather than Wilson. The Harrison that left VA and went to Rockcastle County, KY was not Samuel's brother, he was a son of Benjamin and Sarah Burton Parsons, brother of Samuel. The information you have collected on the internet, has, unfortunately, been mixed with incorrect information. You have correctly put Joseph Sr. with wife Margaret Griffith and second wife Sarah Thompson. However, you also have the wife of Joseph B. Parsons as Sarah Thompson. Joseph B. married a Sarah, but after many years of research, the marriage record for them has not been found. Sarah listed KY as her place of birth. Also, we have not been able find Sarah's surname. Sarah Thompson Parsons signed a deed with John Parsons, son of Jos. Sr., after Joseph's death that she would sign her possessions over to John for her maintenance in his household. John, son of Jos. Sr., was not known in records as John Sr., he was known in tax lists as John of Cherrystone. After the death of John of Whitethorn, he used John in all records until his death. Did you use Ron Parsons' book for your sources?
Thanks,
Donna

I am a descendent of Adam Trischl and his wife Jeanne Elizabeth, who travelled from Stasbourg, France, via Augsburg, Germany, to America. Through their son Henri Trichel and Marie Dumont, in Natchitoches, Louisiana...I am descended : my grandmother's maiden name was Trichel. I do not know from which son of Henri and Marie I am descended. My great great great grandfather was called Elizer/Elise' Trichel and his wife was named Lisia Perot (these names documented in a succession, in the Natchitoches Parish Courthouse, following Lisia Perot Trichel's death in 1888). At that time, Elizer, while still alive, chose to divide his land among his children.
I would welcome any assistance in connecting Henri, the first Trichel in Natchitoches, to my grandmother, Nelda Modean Trichel King (1921-2001).

Nancy, Good to hear from you. I have done no research along your line, so I have no new info to share other than what is already on the website. If you have any further info on Joseph McFarland, Margaret White, or John Arthur McFarland, we'd be very interested in hearing about it. Good Luck on your searches.

Wonderful site and well documented. I am a descendent of Thirza McFarland and Uriah Lawrance. Do you have any info not posted about this line of the family? I have a Lawrence family bible from 1832 bought in Xenia, Ohio showing my direct link.
