CONTRACT OF MARRIAGE between John de Holford and William de Bulkelegh of Oteworth, for the marriage of Thomas, son of the said John, and Alice, daughter of the said William, whereby the said William is to enfeoff the said Thomas and Alice with land to the annual value of 7 marks, to have and to hold to the said Thomas and Alice and their heirs male, and the said John is to enfeoff a stranger with all his lands and tenements in the townships of HOLFORD and LOSTOKGRALAM, who shall enfeoff the said Thomas and Alice with lands there of the value of 7 marks, to have and to hold to the said Thomas and Alice and their heirs male, remainder in default to John Holford and his heirs male, remainder to the heirs of the said Thomas and Alice, and the rest of the lands he shall re-enfeoff to the said John and Alice his wife for life, remainder to the said Thomas and his heirs male by the said Alice; reversion to the said John and his heirs male, remainder to the heirs of the said Thomas by the said Alice; the said William further agrees that when the said John further enfeoffs the said Thomas and Alice with land to the annual value of 2 marks under similar entail, he will do likewise.
